I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail.

If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. These novels are in good conditions, all with attached spines and great overall inside pages (photo#12 examples).

Other than some top outer corner creasing to Volume 1, they have mostly lighter signs of wear that affect predominantly their externals. Their only collective flaw are flexes/waves/bends to their outer corners from storage over time - lighter at the top corners, and moderate ones at the bottom corners (photo#10). The TL;DR versions of each book's condition below is in. Italics , with the more in-depth collectors' paragraphs below them. E to certain areas of books can be seen in the photos above.

BTOC: Back cover's top outer corner. BBOC: Back cover's bottom outer corner. Vol 1 : Good overall condition - great overall inside pages, other than creases to 1 corner some lighter and primarily external signs of wear. USC and LSC have light scuffing. Retailer's remainder mark on pages' external bottom edge near the LSC.

Front and back covers' top, bottom, and page edges have light levels of shelf-scuffing along them. FTOC has a light 1 indent/bend around it that passes lightly thru pages and onto the BTOC as a similarly sized crease. FBOC has a light 2. Indent/depression around it that shows as a very light indent on pages and onto the FTOC as a similarly sized crease/depression. Tiny scuffs at both of their extreme corners that show lightly on 10 pages each.

FTOC has a very light 1 indent/bend around it, with a tiny scuff/bend/cover peel at the extreme corner that goes thru 1/4 pages as a scuff. BBOC also has a tiny scuff/bend, it extends lightly thru 1/3 pages. Front cover has 2 small creases/depressions near its center (photo#11 w/illumination, book on the left), 1 shows on 1/2 pages mostly only under direct lighting. Back cover has a few small/light scratches/indents near the BTOC.

Both covers have some light shelf-scuffing/scratching/tiny residues around them. Spine adhesive has just begun to lose it effectiveness where it meets at the second inside cover page, but is still fully attached.

Good condition - great overall inside page, some lighter and primarily external/corner-based signs of wear. Front and back covers' top and page edges have light if any shelf-wear other than a 2 scuff on the front's top near the outer corner. Front's bottom edge has a moderate 1 ding/scuff near the spine corner that shows as a tiny tear on 1 page and 2 small creases/indents on 5 more pages, with some lighter scuffing along the rest of the edge. Tiny ding near the edge's middle that shows as a light depression on 10 pages. Back cover's bottom edge has light scuffing along it. FTOC and FBOC possess small indents/scuffs/bends around them that extend thru 20 pages each as light scuffs/bends. BTOC and BBOC have tiny scuffs/bends that pass lightly thru 10 pages each. Front cover has a tiny indent near its center (photo#11 w/illumination, book on the right) that shows lightly on 8 pages. A few more tiny/lighter indents and 3 tiny/light depressions nearby (2 of the depressions show as light indents on 20 pages). A few tiny indents/scratches towards the bottom edge, light diagonal 1.5 crease starting adjacent the LSC. Back cover has some tiny scuffs/residues around it.

Spine adhesive has just begun to lose it effectiveness where it meets at the second inside cover page (mostly near the LSC), but is still fully attached. Good to very good condition - great inside pages, some lighter and mostly external signs of wear. USC and LSC have very light scuffing. Front and back covers' top, bottom, and page edges have light if any shelf-wear.

FTOC, FBOC, BTOC, and BBOC possess tiny scuffs/bends that pass lightly thru 5 pages each. Front cover has 3 small/light indents/depressions around its center - 2 show lightly on 1/2 pages mostly under direct illumination only. One more small depression towards its lower half.

Back cover has 4 tiny/light indents/depressions around its center/page edge that show. On 1/3 pages, 1 more small one near the spine edge that shows on 1/2 pages. Vol 4 : Good to very good condition - great inside pages, some lighter and mostly external signs of wear. USC and LSC have light scuffing, LSC has a tiny ding/depression around it on the back cover.

Front cover's top, bottom, and page edges have light if any shelf-wear other than. 2 tiny dings on the page edge that show on 8 pages as light depressions.

Ack cover's top, bottom, and page edges have very light shelf-scuffing/wear along them. FTOC and FBOC possess tiny indents/scuffs/bends that extend thru 12 pages each as scuffs mostly.

BTOC and BBOC have tiny scuffs/bends that go thru 20 pages each lightly. Front cover has a few tiny/light indents/depressions around its title, 2 more near the cover's center (1 shows very lightly on 1/5 pages) with a light nearby 2 diagonal scuff. Small/light crease/depression towards the FTOC. Back cover has two light 2" indents and a 1" depression near the page edge's middle. Small crease/depression near cover's center that shows very lightly on 1/2 pages as an indent.

A few tiny scratches around its lower half. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots.
